Terms of Service

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Using Proofseal means you agree to these terms. We have kept them in plain language.

What this service is

Proofseal is a validation service for marketing measurement results: it reviews the data, methods, assumptions and evidence behind measurement conclusions, and produces verdicts with reasons and limitations. It is currently in a Research Preview stage.

Accounts

Provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials safe. Organization owners manage members; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Your data

Data you upload or connect remains yours. You grant us a license to process it solely as needed to provide the service (storage, computation, verdicts and reports). Cloud-source connections are read-only and revocable at the source at any time; deleting a project or account deletes the related data.

Acceptable use

Please do not: upload files containing personal data (the service works on aggregated marketing data); upload data you have no right to use; interfere with or abuse the system; or resell the service without consent.

Fees

The Research Preview is free, at least through December 31, 2026. Existing users get 30 days' notice before any billing starts; plans and prices will be as announced on the pricing page.

The nature of verdicts

A verdict is an assessment of how far the current evidence reaches, with its grounds and limitations, offered as decision support. It is not a guarantee of business outcomes and does not replace your business judgment; final decisions rest with your team.

Changes and termination

We may adjust or suspend features, with notice for significant changes. You can export your data and delete your account at any time. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or terminated.

Disclaimer and liability cap

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses; for direct losses, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the preceding twelve months (or NT$1,000 during the free period).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.); the Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for disputes arising from them.
